The individual must fulfill the conditions required of them for opening the POEMS account. You can visit our main office or any of the POEMS Investor Centres to apply for an account. All new applications must be signed in the presence of a Phillip Securities witnessing officer.
The following documents are required to open an account.
Identification Card (for citizens and permanent residents).
Passports (for non-Singaporeans) & Malaysian IC for Malaysians.
Work and Re-entry Permits (for foreigners working in Singapore).
Yes, you can open an account. However, in accordance with the SGX-ST
rules all account applications that are remotely signed require the endorsement by a Notary Public or Commissioner of Oaths. A photocopy of your passport, declaration by the concerned Notary Public or Commissioner of Oaths and the deposit for the account should be submitted together with your application form for the account.
