If you see this message while logging in to POEMS:

"Login to POEMS requires Java Virtual Machine(JVM) to be installed.
If Java Virtual Machine(JVM) is already installed on your browser, an error may have occurred loading the JVM. Please close your browser and try again."

1. Goto http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
2. Click on the 2nd download button (Windows Offline Installation).
3. When a dialog box appears, click on "Open" or "Run".
4. After the download has completed, follow the Installation instruction to install Java (Typical Installation).
5. After installing Java, restart your Internet Explorer and login to POEMS.
   

"Error loading the page. Please try again."

1. Please clear the "Temporary Internet Files" your Internet Explorer. 
   For instructions on how to clear "Temporary Internet Files", please click on the link below:

If the the clear the Temporary Internet Files do not resolves the error, please do the following:

1. Click on "Start" -> "Settings" -> "Control Panel" -> "Add or Remove Programs"
2. Locate any Java or J2SE installations and remove them.
3. Goto http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
4. Click on the 2nd download button (Windows Offline Installation)
5. When a dialog box appears, click on "Open" or "Run"
6. After the download has completed, follow the Installation instruction to install Java software (Typical Installation)
7. After installing Java, restart your Internet Explorer and login to POEMS.
