  Auto-Complete / Saving of Passwords

The following steps will enhance the security of online trading by clearing any passwords or userID saved on your computer preventing any possible unauthorised access to your POEMS account. The Auto-Complete prompt to save passwords and forms are initialised by your browser and can be easily disabled if you prefer. This is especially important if you are sharing the computer with other users.



 
 
  1. Open your Internet Explorer Browser.
  2. Click on "Tools".
  3. Click on "Internet Options".
  4. Click on "Content".
  5. Click on "AutoComplete". The "AutoComplete Settings" box will open up.
  6. Remove the tick from "Forms" and "User names and passwords on forms"
  7. After that is done, click on "Clear Forms" and "Clear Passwords"
  8. You will be prompted with a pop-up message to confirm if you would like to clear all forms and passwords, click OK.
  9. Finally click on OK and OK again to exit.
  10. You have now cleared off all previously saved passwords or trading account number on your computer.
