  Security 128bit Encryption

You need to have a 128bit encryption enabled browser to Login to POEMS. Users who do not update their browsers will not be able to login to POEMS.

To check whether you are using a 128bit encryption enable browser, see instructions below.

For Internet Explorer users,
  1. Open your Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on "Help".
  3. Click on "About Internet Explorer".
  4. Check the Cipher Strength. It should be 128bit.
  5. If not, you have to download and install the "Microsoft Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack". After the installation, please re-start your computer.
Repeat the steps to check whether you have install successfully.

For Netscape users,
  1. Open your Netscape.
  2. Click on "Edit"
  3. Click on "Preferences"
  4. Open or double click on "Privacy & Security" on the left column of the Preferences.
  5. Click on SSL.
  6. On the right column, make sure the "Enable SSL version 3" is ticked.
  7. If you cannot find "SSL version 3", you have to download and install the latest version of "Netscape". After the installation, please re-start your computer.
Repeat the steps to check whether you have install successfully.
