POEMS Mobile - Trading

In this menu option, you can place trading orders for the counter you have selected.
You can select a counter to trade by keying in the stock counter code.

The following section is an example of how to place a buy order for Singapore Airlines:
Step 1 When prompted for Stock Code?
Enter SIA.SG, scroll down and select Go to continue.
Step 2 The price info screen will show you the name of the counter as well as:

Bid The offer to buy price for the counter
Ask The offer to sell price for the counter
Last The last done price for the counter

 
Step 3 Scroll down to see the order placement screen.

i. On Action, select to Buy or Sell.
ii. For Qty, enter the number of shares you would like to purchase for this counter.
iii. Enter the price to trade for the counter under Price.
iv. Select the payment mode for Payment. There are options to pay by Cash or CPF. For sell orders, you can select Contra.
v. For Force Key, you will be able to force in your trades if you have enough usage points. Please see our FAQ section on force key.

Once you have entered all your trading options and would like to confirm your trade, select Go.

If you change your mind and decide to select another counter, you can select Cancel to choose another counter.

Or you may wish to select Trade History to access the counter's history of intraday last done trades.
Step 4 The screen will show the details of your order. Enter your PIN and select Accept to place the order.

Note: Once you click on Accept, the order is immediately sent into our system. There is no further confirmation.
Step 5 The screen will show you the message 'Your Order Has Been Received.' The order number will be indicated in Order Status under Working Orders.

After you have placed an order, please check the status of the order from the Order Status option under the main menu.
