Shareholder Notice
Please find a notice informing unitholders of the unitholder meeting for our proposal to close the Aberdeen Standard Japan Equity Fund “(the Sub-Fund)” as attached. Due to current COVID-19 restriction orders in Singapore, the meeting will be held virtually. Unitholders will not be able to physically attend the meeting, but will instead be able to vote by first execute and submit the proxy form attached to the notice of meeting to appoint the Chairman as proxy.
The key dates are as follows:
Proxy deadline – 4.30pm, 15 April 2021
Unitholder meeting – 20 April 2021
Proposed termination date – 20 May 2021, or such later date as we, in consultation with the Trustee, determine.
