We know charting is one of the most important tools in trading. That is why we are constantly looking at ways to improve our Chart-Live. Check out some of the recent upgrades we made on POEMS 2.0.
Corporate Action Adjustments (for SG stocks)
Corporate actions such as share split or share consolidation can create price gaps in charts that can be disruptive when you perform your technical analysis. For example, a share split of 3-for-1 will cause the price to become one-third of what it used to be, creating a large gap on the chart. This may create seemingly bearish signals.
Therefore, we provide the option of adjusting the historical price data to ensure that all price movements on our charts are caused by pure market forces for more informed Technical Analysis. Simply right-click anywhere on the chart and select “Show Adjusted Chart Data”:
In addition to the all-time favourite Midnight Black, you can now view your preferred charts in equally cool themes such as Classic White and Ash Gray. Simply click on the “Settings” button to make a change:
Bonus tip: Printing your charts? For best results, use Classic White theme.
We heard you. Due to popular demand, we have added 3 new indicators to our growing list to give you more tools for technical analysis:
Bonus tip: Add up to a maximum of 5 technical indicators on any chart
To help you do what you want on our charts faster, easier and better, we have also added short-cut buttons to our technical indicators and drawing tools.
This way, you can focus on our charts while we take care of the rest.
Bonus tip: Make short-cut buttons appear by clicking on the drawing tools
