Data from Thomson Reuters is downloaded into our servers daily. Owing to the massive volume of data being transmitted, it will take up to 48 hours for the latest data to be reflected on your screen. For Recognia charts, the trading signals are computed by Recognia’sproprietary technology using end-of-day price data from the previous trading day. Dow Jones news is streaming and displayed as and when available.
Ratios derived from price data are based on the Market closing price from 2 previous market days. Data is provided by the respective financial exchanges and may be delayed (as specified by the financial exchanges or our data providers). This price can found under the data disclosure disclaimer in the Stock Analytics report.
You may like to download a copy of the Glossary of financial terms used in Stock Analytics. For interpretation of these data and financial ratios, you may like to consult your Trading Representative.
Many long-term investors use the target price as a potential exit price point. The consensus target price is provided by Thomson Reuters, who collates the 12-month target prices submitted by individual analysts covering the particular stock. With the collated data, Thomson Reuters then computes an average price. This data will be reflected on your screen 48 hours from the time our servers download the fresh target price from Thomson Reuters. It is not uncommon that the consensus prices remain unchanged for many months if the covering analysts believe there are no changes to the company’s operating environment to warrant a re-rating or change of target price. In general, most liquid stocks are well-covered by analysts over the world. The number of analysts covering a particular stock can be found under the Target Price disclosure disclaimer in the Stock Analytics report.
The Industry Peers are determined by Thomsom Reuters based on the Thomson Reuters Business Classification (TRBC) industry classification. The TRBC is a market oriented schema that tracks the primary business of corporations using a standardized methodology. More information can be found here.
Data integrity takes the top seat on our priority list. If you happen to discover any data discrepancies, please inform your Trading Representative or send us an email at talktophillip@phillip.com.sg.
