Terms & Conditions for “Because You Matter” Promotion Campaign
- “Promotion Period” refers to the period from 1 November 2022 to 31 December 2022 with both dates inclusive.
- “Promotion” refers to the fully subsidised basic health screening (Promotion 1), fully subsidized comprehensive health screening (Promotion 3) and the ultrasound services (Promotion 2) at subsidised rates respective to eligibility criteria(s).
- “Promotion 1” refers to the Fully Subsidised Basic Health Screening
- “Promotion 2” refers to the Ultrasound Service(s) at Subsidised Rates
- “Promotion 3” refers to the Fully Subsidised Comprehensive Health Screening*
- “Qualifying Client” are customers who have purchased any Life or General Insurance plans as per eligibility criteria which have been submitted, reviewed and accepted by Phillip Securities Pte Ltd.
- “Participating Branches” refer to the Phillip Investor Centres selected for this promotion.
- “Insurer” refers to the respective product owners of the plan(s) purchased
- “PSPL” refers to Phillip Securities Pte Ltd
- “PIC” refers to Phillip Investor Centre, a department under PSPL

A Qualifying Client is entitled to redeem the Promotion in accordance to the terms and conditions of this Promotion period, and if the Qualifying Client fulfills the Minimum Eligibility Criteria below, which will be submitted by the Participating Branches and PIC Financial Advisory Representatives, and accepted by both the Insurer and PSPL during the Promotion Period.

PIC Participating Branches and/or PIC Financial Advisory Representatives will issue a unique promotion code for redemption upon successful purchase of any Life or General Insurance plan and provided that the Qualifying Client meets the minimum requirements in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Insurer.
Qualifying Client(s) shall be solely responsible for ensuring that they provide PIC with a valid mailing address as stated in the registration form. The Qualifying Client agrees and accepts that neither PIC nor the Insurer will be held responsible for any consequences arising from his/her failure to provide PIC with a true, complete and accurate mailing address and/or notify PIC of any change(s) to his/her mailing email address.
The Promotion Code(s) will be issued within seven (7) working days after the policy is incepted.
- By participating in the Promotion, each Qualifying Client is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other instructions, terms and conditions that PSPL and the Insurer may issue from time to time.
- PSPL assumes no responsibility for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected forms or email communication, for technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed incomplete, distorted or delayed electronic transmission which may limit a Qualifying Client’s ability to participate in the Promotion.
- PSPL has the sole and absolute discretion to exclude any Qualifying Clients from participating in the Promotion without any obligation to furnish notice and/or reason.
- PSPL reserves the right to disqualify or disregard any Qualifying Client who does not comply with the terms and conditions.
- PSPL may at its discretion forfeit the Promotion, or, if already awarded, reclaim the Promotion at the expense of the Qualifying Client without payment, compensation, or having to give any reason whatsoever in the event
- PSPL reserves the right to replace any Promotion with items of similar value at any time without prior notice.
- PSPL shall not be liable for any loss of, damage to, defects, delay, mis-delivery or non-delivery of the Promotion.
- PSPL reserves the right to deal with any unclaimed Promotion in any manner it deems fit.
- PSPL reserves the right to request for the Qualifying Clients’ proof of eligibility, identity and/or otherwise for the purposes of verifying the Qualifying Clients’ claim to the Promotion at the time of collection.
- PSPL is under no obligation whatsoever to disclose the identity of the Qualifying Clients or to publish the same for any reason at any point of time.
- The Promotion is non-transferable, not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items of equivalent value.
- The validity period of the Promotion is three (3) months from date of inception. PSPL will be under no obligation to replace or pay a Qualifying Client the value of any period of the Promotion that is not utilised by the Qualifying Client(s) before the end of the validity period of the Promotion as may be stipulated by PSPL
- By participating in this Promotion, each Qualifying Client agrees and consents to the collection, use and disclosure of any and all personal data of the Qualifying Client by PSPL and its advertising and promotional agencies for the purpose of administering and/or publicizing the Promotion, and providing the Qualifying Client with marketing, advertising and promotional information or materials relating to the products and services that PSPL offers.
- If a Qualifying Client provides PSPL with personal data of any third party, that Qualifying Client hereby:
a. agrees on behalf of that third party to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein; and
b. consents on behalf of that third party, to PSPL’s collection, use, disclosure and processing of his/her personal data in accordance with the Terms and Conditions contained herein.
c. warrants that he/she has obtained the said third party’s prior consent to such collection, use, disclosure and processing of his/her personal data by PSPL and that the personal data that the Qualifying Client provides to PSPL is true, accurate and complete. - PSPL shall not be liable for any third party’s misuse of the Qualifying Client‘s submitted information and photograph as a result of the Qualifying Client taking part in the Promotion.
- PSPL may at any time at its absolute discretion, without prior notice or assigning any reason thereof or being liable to any person,
a. suspend, cancel or terminate the Promotion, or
b. delete, vary, supplement, amend, modify any one or more of the terms and conditions of the Promotion.
PSPL’s determination of all matters in connection with the Promotion shall be final, binding and conclusive.
PSPL is not obliged to give any reason or prior notice on any matter concerning the Promotion Period or the Promotion. No appeal, correspondence or claims will be entertained. PSPL has the right and discretion to determine whether a party has met the requirements of the Promotion and/or to redeem the Promotion. Qualifying Clients shall not be entitled to any damages or compensation whatsoever or howsoever arising as a result of such amendment, suspension or termination. - By participating in the Promotion, all Qualifying Clients agree and undertake to, at all times, indemnify, keep indemnified, and hold PSPL, its employees and agents harmless against all losses (including direct, indirect, incidental and/or consequential losses), damages (including general, special, and/or punitive damages), demands, injuries (other than personal injury caused by PSPL‘s negligence), claims, costs, penalties, interest and fees (including all legal fees as between solicitor and client or otherwise on a full indemnity basis whether or not incurred in respect of any real, anticipated, or threatened legal proceedings), howsoever caused by, arising or resulting from, whether directly or indirectly, their participation in the Promotion, acceptance or usage of the Promotion, and/or any breach or purported breach of these terms and conditions and/or any applicable law.
xviii. PSPL makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the merchants’ goods and services in respect of the Promotion. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the Insurer. The Insurer Terms and Conditions apply. - In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the terms and conditions and the contents of any brochure, marketing and/or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
- Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any materials used in connection with this Promotion, in particular the Promotion, are the property of their respective owners. PSPL is not affiliated with, or endorsed or sponsored by, such owners and their relevant affiliates.
- Failure by PSPL to exercise any of its right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.
- The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and the Qualifying Clients agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
- A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
- In case of dispute, the decision of PSPL shall be final.
- PSPL, its affiliates and their respective employees and agents shall not be liable to any person for any loss, damage, injury, costs or expenses incurred, suffered, borne or arising from this promotion.
- By redeeming this Promotion, the Qualifying Client agrees and consents to:
a. PSPL transferring his/her personal data collected to the Insurer for the purposes of the insurance policy application;
b. the Insurer collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing his/her personal data for the purpose of processing the insurance policy application as well as conducting surveys or promoting initiatives to the Qualifying Client;
c. the Insurer collecting personal data about the Qualifying Client from sources other than the Qualifying Client and using, disclosing and/or processing the same, for the purposes as described above;
d. the Insurer disclosing or transferring the Qualifying Client’s personal data to their third party service providers or agents (whether in Singapore or outside Singapore) for the purposes as described above. - Where appropriate, the Insurer may share necessary data with other financial agencies, so as to improve the discharge of functions, and to serve you in the most efficient and effective way unless such sharing is prohibited by law.
- The Qualifying Client understands that he/she is entitled to withdraw his/her consent for the collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal data by notifying the Data Protection Officer (“DPO” ) of in writing. The Qualifying Client also understands that by withdrawing his/her consent may mean that PSPL is unable to proceed with the application for the insurance policy.
- Where appropriate, the Insurer may share necessary data with other financial agencies, so as to improve the discharge of functions, and to serve you in the most efficient and effective way unless such sharing is prohibited by law. Please refer to https://minmed.sg/privacy/ for more information.
- The Qualifying Customer understands that he/she is entitled to withdraw his/her consent for the collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal data by notifying the Data Protection Officer (“DPO” ) of Minmed Group (ask@minmed.sg), in writing. The Eligible Customer also understands that by withdrawing his/her consent may mean that Minmed Group is unable to proceed with the registered Promotion(s).
