    1. Definition
      • Promotion Period” refers to the period from 10 April 2023 till 30 April 2023, both dates inclusive
      • Easter Activity” refers to the Toss an Eggmo Challenge: toss 3 plastic eggs successfully landing into the egg tray while standing 3 meters away.
      • Grand Prize” refers to the S$300 Money Market Fund (MMF) Cash credit when the first customer completes the criteria for Promotion 1, and the Easter Activity (refer to Mechanics) successfully by tossing and landing 3 Eggmo into the slots of an egg tray at the participating PIC branch .
      • Qualifying Customer” refers to new customers who create a POEMS Account and existing clients who have a POEMS Account, and complete the respective Promotion criteria during the Promotion Period.
      • POEMS Account” refers to Cash Plus or Cash Management, Margin, Prepaid or Custodian Account.
      • PSPL” refers to Phillip Securities Pte Ltd
      • PIC” refers to Phillip Investor Centre, a department under PSPL

  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. By participating in the Promotion, each Qualifying Customer is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other instructions, terms and conditions that PSPL may issue from time to time.
    2. PSPL assumes no responsibility for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected forms or email communication, for technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed incomplete, distorted or delayed electronic transmission which may limit a Qualifying Customer’s ability to participate in the Promotion.
    3. PSPL has the sole and absolute discretion to exclude any Qualifying Customers from participating in the Promotion without any obligation to furnish notice and/or reason.
    4. PSPL reserves the right to disqualify or disregard any Qualifying Customer who does not comply with the terms and conditions.
    5. PSPL may at its discretion forfeit the Promotion, or, if already awarded, reclaim the Promotion at the expense of the Qualifying Customer without payment, compensation, or having to give any reason whatsoever in the event PSPL subsequently discovers that the Qualifying Customer is not eligible to participate in the Promotion and/or to receive the Promotion.
    6. PSPL reserves the right to replace any Promotion with items of similar value at any time without prior notice.
    7. PSPL shall not be liable for any loss of, damage to, defects, delay, mis-delivery or non-delivery of the Promotion
    8. PSPL reserves the right to deal with any unclaimed Promotion in any manner it deems fit
    9. PSPL reserves the right to request for the Qualifying Customers’ proof of eligibility, identity and/or otherwise for the purposes of verifying the Qualifying Customers’ claim to the Promotion at the time of collection
    10. PSPL is under no obligation whatsoever to disclose the identity of the Qualifying Customers or to publish the same for any reason at any point of time
    11. The Promotion is non-transferable, not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items of equivalent value.
    12. By participating in this Promotion, each Qualifying Customer agrees and consents to the collection, use and disclosure of any and all personal data of the Qualifying Customer by PSPL and its advertising and promotional agencies for the purpose of administering and/or publicizing the Promotion, and providing the Qualifying Customer with marketing, advertising and promotional information or materials relating to the products and services that PSPL offers.
    13. PSPL may at any time at its absolute discretion, without prior notice or assigning any reason thereof or being liable to any person,
      1. suspend, cancel or terminate the Promotion, or
      2. delete, vary, supplement, amend, modify any one or more of the terms and conditions of the Promotion.
    14. PSPL’s determination of all matters in connection with the Promotion shall be final, binding and conclusive
    15. PSPL is not obliged to give any reason or prior notice on any matter concerning the Promotion Period or the Promotion. No appeal, correspondence or claims will be entertained. PSPL has the right and discretion to determine whether a party has met the requirements of the Promotion and/or to redeem the Promotion. Qualifying Customers shall not be entitled to any damages or compensation whatsoever or howsoever arising as a result of such amendment, suspension or termination.
    16. By participating in the Promotion, all Qualifying Customers agree and undertake to, at all times, indemnify, keep indemnified, and hold PSPL, its employees and agents harmless against all losses (including direct, indirect, incidental and/or consequential losses), damages (including general, special, and/or punitive damages), demands, injuries (other than personal injury caused by PSPL‘s negligence), claims, costs, penalties, interest and fees (including all legal fees as between solicitor and Customer or otherwise on a full indemnity basis whether or not incurred in respect of any real, anticipated, or threatened legal proceedings), howsoever caused by, arising or resulting from, whether directly or indirectly, their participation in the Promotion, acceptance or usage of the Promotion, and/or any breach or purported breach of these terms and conditions and/or any applicable law.
    17. PSPL makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the merchants’ goods and services in respect of the Promotion. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the Merchant. The Merchant Terms and Conditions apply.
    18. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the terms and conditions and the contents of any brochure, marketing and/or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
    19. Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any materials used in connection with this Promotion, in particular the Promotion, are the property of their respective owners. PSPL is not affiliated with, or endorsed or sponsored by, such owners and their relevant affiliates.
    20. Failure by PSPL to exercise any of its right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.
    21. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and the Qualifying Customers agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
    22. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
    23. In case of dispute, the decision of PSPL shall be final.
    24. PSPL, its affiliates and their respective employees and agents shall not be liable to any person for any loss, damage, injury, costs or expenses incurred, suffered, borne or arising from this promotion
    25. The Qualifying Customer understands that he/she is entitled to withdraw his/her consent for the collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal data by notifying the Data Protection Officer (“DPO” ) of in writing. The Qualifying Customer also understands that by withdrawing his/her consent may mean that PSPL is unable to proceed with the respective Promotion Redemption.
    26. PSPL reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to
      1. amend, add to, and/or delete at any time of these Terms & Conditions without prior notice (including eligibility and qualifying terms and criteria), and all participants shall be bound by such amendments, additions and/or deletions when effected, or to
      2. vary, withdraw, and/or cancel any items or the promotion itself without having to disclose a reason, and without any compensation or payment whatsoever. PSPL’s decision on all matters relating to the promotion are final and binding on all customers.
    27. By taking part in this campaign, the customer acknowledges that he / she has read and consented to these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Frequently Asked Questions
    1. Which account types are eligible for this Promotion?
      Cash Plus, Cash Management, Margin, Prepaid, and Custodian Accounts with Excess Fund Management facility are eligible to participate in this promotion.
    2. Am I eligible for this Promotion if I am a Cash Trading or Share Financing Account holder?
      No. You will be unable to participate in this promotion as the Cash Trading / Share Financing Account does not have excess fund management facility.
    3. I am not a Singaporean. Am I eligible for this Promotion?
      No, the promotion is only eligible for Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents or foreigners/expatriates who hold a valid Employment Pass, Work Permit, Dependent Pass issued by Ministry of Manpower or Student Pass issued by Ministry of Education.
    4. I have deposited S$3000. Can I use my funds for investment purposes during the holding period?
      Yes. You are allowed to use the funds to trade on POEMS.
    5. I have deposited S$3000 in a joint account. Will both Account Holders receive the Promotion rewards?
      No. The reward is only entitled to one (1) customer, and it will be issued to the main account holder.
    6. Do I get to redeem more than one (1) rewards?
      No. Each customer is only entitled to one (1) redemption of rewards.
    7. Am I allowed to deposit S$3000 separately? i.e. S$2000 for first deposit and S$1000 for the second deposit
      Yes, you are allowed to deposit the amounts separately as long as you deposit the full amount of S$3000 within 7 calendar days. You may then return to redeem your 9 additional Eggmo and play the Toss an Eggmo challenge within the Promotion Period.
    8. Am I allowed to deposit US Dollars instead of SG Dollars?
      No, you are only allowed to deposit in SG Dollars.
    9. Am I qualified for the Promotion if I transfer the S$3000 or more from another trading account to Smart Park?
      No, you will not be eligible. The deposit needs to be in the form of fresh funds from the Bank(s).
    10. Am I still qualified for the Grand Prize if one of the Eggmo bounced off the tray?
      No, you will not be qualified as all three (3) eggmos have to land and stay on the tray.
