Frequently Asked Questions
Securities Borrowing
Do I need to put in any collateral after I have sold the securities?
Yes. You will have to put in collateral latest by the day following the short sale. Accepted collateral can be in the form of cash or marginable securities as prescribed by Phillip Securities. All accepted securities will be assigned a collateralised value.
