Bollinger Bands are a widely used technical analysis tool that consists of three bands plotted around the price chart of an asset, to provide insights into volatility, potential trend reversals, and overbought or oversold conditions. Traders and analysts use Bollinger Bands for various purposes: Volatility Assessment, Trend Identification, Overbought and Oversold ConditionsReversal Signals and Confirmation with Other Indicators.
