What is Market Data & Rewards about?

Market Data & Rewards is a loyalty programme to thank you for trading with us. Earn reward points as you trade on the POEMS suite of platforms (POEMS 2.0, POEMS Mobile 2.0 and POEMS Mercury). The more you invest, the more reward points you will receive.

Instead of paying cash, you can redeem your POEMS reward points with a selection of market data, trading services, magazines and vouchers.

How do I earn POEMS Reward Points?

For every S$1 commission by trading equities via POEMS 2.0, POEMS Mobile 2.0 and POEMS Mercury on both local (except trades done under Unit Share) and selected foreign markets (NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ, HKEx, SET, Bursa, SET, TSE, LSE, SSE-A, SZSE-A), you will be awarded 1 POEMS reward point as appreciation for trading with POEMS.

When will my reward points be credited?

Reward points will be credited into your account the next trading day after an equity trade is completed.

How do I check and redeem my reward points?

To check your POEMS Reward Points –

  1. Login to POEMS 2.0
  2. Click on Market Data & Rewards tab, then click on New Subscriptions subtab
  3. The Total Points Available is reflected on the bottom left corner
 

To redeem your POEMS Reward Points –

  1. In POEMS 2.0, click on Market Data & Rewards tab, then click on New Subscriptions subtab
  2. Select the product that you want to redeem by clicking on the checkbox next to it
  3. Select the number of months to subscribe from the dropdown list (if applicable)
  4. Click on ‘Submit’ button
  5. Review your redemption request
  6. Enter your ‘Password’ and click on ‘Confirm’ button to complete your redemption

Your Total Points Available will be deducted upon successful redemption. Kindly note that upon successful redemption, no amendment and/or refund requests will be entertained.

 

Note:

For Live Prices (Non-Professional), you will be required to complete an Agreement after clicking on the checkbox. For Live Prices (Professional), please click on the ‘Agreement’ link and complete the steps indicated. Please note that subscriber assumes all liability declaring status as a Professional Investor or Non-Professional Investor and will be held accountable for all applicable penalties and/or the Exchange fees if declaration is incorrect.

Kindly note that there shall be no refund of the unused portion of the subscription fee should you wish to terminate any services prior to the expiry date.

Why does my reward points remain as 0 even though I have performed some trades?

Reward points will be credited into your account the next trading day after an equity trade is completed.

Please note that the reward points will only be awarded for equity trades done via POEMS 2.0, POEMS Mobile 2.0 and POEMS Mercury on both local (except trades done under Unit Share) and selected foreign markets (NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ, HKEx, SET, Bursa, SET, TSE, LSE, SSE-A, SZSE-A).

Trades that were keyed or assisted by your Trading Representative do not qualify for POEMS reward points.

Is there an expiry date to the POEMS Reward Points?

POEMS Reward Points have a validity period of at least one year from the date they are earned. Your points will expire at the end of every calendar quarter (March, June, September, December), one year from the date they are earned. Below is an example:

What can I redeem with my POEMS Reward Points?

We have a selection of market data, trading services, magazines and vouchers for you to choose from. To view the latest items available for redemption, simply login to POEMS 2.0, click on Market Data & Rewards tab, then click on New Subscriptions subtab.

What can I do if I do not have sufficient reward points for redemption?

Instead of redeeming the desired item using reward points, you can subscribe by using available funds in your POEMS account.

Can I redeem the POEMS Reward Points from one account and use the reward in another POEMS account?

No. Any product redeemed using reward points can only be used by the same account.

Can I transfer the POEMS Reward Points from one account to another POEMS account?

No. POEMS Reward points are strictly non-transferable.

How long do I have to wait before my redemption/subscription is activated?

All successful requests will be processed within the following timeline:
  • Activated within 2 working days: Live Prices, Services (With the exception of POEMSView)
  • Notified within 1 week: Seminars
  • Notified within 1 month or earlier: Courses, Magazines, POEMSView, Vouchers

Are there any promotions for Live Prices?

Yes! From now till 31 December 2020, eligible clients who are categorised as Non-Professional Investors are entitled to the following FREE Real-Time Stock Prices: Terms & Conditions apply. Please click in to the respective product link for more information.

How do I subscribe or make payment for Market Data & Rewards?

  • By Reward Points
    1. In POEMS 2.0, click on Market Data & Rewards tab, then click on New Subscriptions subtab
    2. Select the product that you want to redeem by clicking on the checkbox next to it
    3. Select the number of months to subscribe from the dropdown list (if applicable)
    4. Click on ‘Submit’ button
    5. Review your redemption request
    6. Enter your ‘Password’ and click on ‘Confirm’ button to complete your redemption

    Your Total Points Available will be deducted upon successful redemption. Kindly note that upon successful redemption, no amendment and/or refund requests will be entertained.

  • By Deduction from available funds in Ledger-Based POEMS Trading Account
    1. In POEMS 2.0, click on Acct Mgmt > Stocks > Online Forms on the left side menu
    2. Under the Withdrawal Form sub-tab, select Market Data & Rewards (Cash Payment) option
    3. Select your desired product from the dropdown list*
    4. Click on Submit button
    5. Review your withdrawal request
    6. Enter your ‘Password’ and click on OK button to confirm your request

    * If the product you desire is not inside the dropdown list, please select the Others – Please specify option.

    • Enter your desired product in the Description field
    • Enter the amount to withdraw in the Amount to be withdrawn field
     

    Withdrawal submissions before 10am will be processed by the next working day.

    Withdrawal submissions after 10am will be processed by the next two working days.

  • By Internet Bill Payment (For Cash Trading and Ledger-Based POEMS Trading Accounts)
    1. Login to your Internet Banking (POSB/DBS Bank, UOB Bank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank & Maybank)
    2. Choose the Bill Payment option and select the Billing Organisation as PHILLIP SECURITIES PTE LTD
    3. Enter your 7 digits Trading Account number (g. trading account “123456”, to enter as “0123456”)

    Note:

    For payment by Internet Bill Payment: Please inform your Trading Representative once payment has been made, so that he/she can proceed with the necessary arrangements.

    For Live Prices (Non-Professional), you will be required to complete an Agreement after clicking on the checkbox.
